Welcome
Kevin McCloskey, Athletic Director and Senior Class Sponsor
The second half of the 2019-2020 school year was marked by the emergence of COVID-19 and the cancelation of in-person classes from March 13 to June 4. This pandemic disrupted school activities, including Graduation Weekend, and is being held almost completely virtually. The Class of 2020 is special in many ways and will be remembered for their perseverance and resilience. This program commemorates the accomplishments of this class and serves to historically preserve this time in history.
Class of 2020
Serve Others, Grow in Christ, Aspire to Excellence.
CLASS PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE
Mirielle Anne B. Enriquez
After four long years that flew by fast, graduation weekend is finally here! Through all the ups and downs, we made it. I want to congratulate my classmates on working so diligently, from the moment we were freshmen explorers, all the way to wearing our caps and gowns. It’s so surreal that it feels like it was just yesterday that we graduated from eighth grade. Seniors, take a moment to realize all the things we’ve been through – our hardships, trials, and challenges. By God’s grace, all of us were able to strive for excellence, and there is no prouder President than yours truly.
On behalf of the Class of 2020, I would like to uplift all the people who helped us get to where we are now. We express our deep gratitude to our teachers, faculty, family, friends, and loved ones for constantly guiding us towards the path God wants us to travel. We are eternally grateful that you have been our rocks when we needed you. From making sure our campus is clean to paying our tuition, none of this would be possible if it weren’t for you. So, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts. This weekend not only celebrates the Class of 2020, but also the people who made it happen.
To my fellow graduates, we are closing another chapter of our lives and beginning a new one with a whole new set of people, places and memories. Friends, I encourage you to create the best relationships in life. Remember the ones you have made here at SGA, and apply what you have learned about life here to life out there. You are going to be successful in whatever God has called you to do, so don’t worry about the future, because He’s got it under control. Proverbs 16:3 says, “Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and He will establish your plans.” Make the most out of everyday, and never forget that SGA will always welcome us home.
